Check out the standings as we compete for the highest X power this season! Starting as a Low Ink pickup in December 2024 under the same time, Renzo and Tessaract would reunite and eventually form the first iteration of 11 ft 8 Bridge. Though the previous roster didn’t work out, Tessaract was stubborn and sought to revive the team. Though she and Renzo previously co-captained, a desire to innovate with support stuff led her to seek out Glack as team manager and Shark as coach. Agaric and Hax joined the team to complete the roster alongside an intrigued Renzo.
Much like the bridge that inspired us, sometimes renovations are necessary. Established on the American pastime of destroying rental trucks and urban sprawl, we’re driven to raise the standard for what a team should be. In the 3rd game, he has crawled up to a 2700 JP zones power. While she enjoys farming cooler, she secretly wishes she could be playing an Ink Vac weapon instead.
Outside of playing comp, you can find Glack doing art. Her work can be found on Bluesky or Kofi. For updates on the tryout process, check our Bluesky account! Requirements # Apart from being 18+ (21+ ideally) and free weeknights at 8 pm eastern (sometimes 7 to warm up), we aren’t looking for anything out of the ordinary. Be able to VC and don’t be an asshole/bigot.
We’re looking for someone around a division 4-5 skill range. Strict LUTI divisions aren’t required, just where we’d gauge our skill level at the moment. X power and results can also be a good indicator of skill.
A nice bonus is if you’re able to or willing to consider streaming your perspective for scrims and tournaments. Branding is an important component to the team, and we want people to get to know everyone on the roster as individuals as well as a collective team!
Weapon Pool # Exact weapons are where we’re the most flexible. As the 5th player, we’re looking for something that can slot in for any of us while maintaining our general playstyle. Obviously nothing can say replace a tent and there will be a permutation of the team that’s properly backless, but your weapon can also offer new options for the team to play around. What you play does need to be capable of aggression and be at least paint neutral.
Some weapons we’d be interested in are:
Dread Wringer (possibly flexing to Hornz Dread Wringer) Heavy Splatling Splatana Stamper Stickerz Mini Splatling (all kits) Slosher What we aren’t looking for:
Blasters (too little paint) Proper backlines (Hydra, Charger, Snipewriter, etc.) Brellas Most important of all is to be a FREAK on your weapon. If you main Big Swig Planetz and think you’d be a great fit, please feel free to apply!
Why Join Us # The biggest factors separating us from other teams around our skill level are structure and branding. We have a team manager in Glack who helps organize practice/tournaments, allowing you to focus on gameplay, coordination, and communication. And Shark is our coach - bringing a unique perspective based on hyperdive and experience with multiple roles. We ourselves aren’t a hyperdive team, though many parts of the playstyle are widely applicable. Branding just means having a team website, active Bluesky account, cohesive graphics, and overall name recognition.
Tryout Process # Expect the tryout process to take 3-4 weeks on your end once we start, but there may be a significant delay between submitting an application and us getting back to you. We got a large volume of applicants looking for our first 3 players, and the team is still prioritizing regular practice/entering tournaments alongside recruitment as Hax will be gone for part of the summer. Silence is not a bad sign but rather us working through the queue of applicants.
Submit an application Fill out some basic information for us to better track who applies. Vibe Check We'll play something casual like Anarchy Open or a Challenge, with the goal to see how we communicate/mesh. No stakes for gameplay - we want to create an environment to chat and get to know you better. Scrims or SendouQ This is where we'll start looking at gameplay + comms, either via scrims or SendouQ sets. Play the weapons you'd want to try out with. Tournaments Finally we'll play some tournaments together, with the goal of seeing how vibes + gameplay stand up under pressure. Since we'd be spending a lot of time together as teammates, we want to make sure everyone is having a good time for multiple hours.
